From Taghazout: Essaouira Day Tour

This full-day excursion from Taghazout to Essaouira, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers a rich mix of culture, history, and coastal scenery. Famous for its fortified medina, blue-and-white facades, and artistic vibe, Essaouira is a must-visit destination on Morocco’s Atlantic coast.

The drive takes roughly 2.5 hours and winds through scenic Berber countryside. Along the way, you’ll stop to see the tree-climbing goats, a fascinating sight unique to the region, and pass countless Berber villages, giving you a glimpse of traditional Moroccan life.

Upon arriving in Essaouira, you’ll begin a guided tour through the medina, including stops at the souk, the Scala ramparts, the old port, and the municipal market.
